Cave Springs is a small city in the middle of the Northwest Arkansas metro, wedged between Springdale, Lowell, Rogers and Bentonville, and it has grown quickly from a quiet crossroads into a community of newer homes, larger lots and small businesses. That mix shapes the networking work here: homes that need Cat6 run to every room, home offices that need a network as solid as a downtown office, and properties with a shop or outbuilding that needs to come online too. Harold Ragan Communications designs and installs all of it from nearby Springdale. Call (479) 510-CODE (2633).
A lot of Cave Springs households now include someone working from home full time, and consumer mesh kits rarely hold up to a day of video calls from a back bedroom. The fix is wiring: whole-home Cat6 drops to the rooms that matter, a small network closet with a patch panel and switch, and ceiling-mounted access points hard-wired back to it. In new construction we rough it in with your builder before the drywall; in finished homes we fish cable through walls and attics and keep the patching to a minimum.
Many Cave Springs properties sit on more land than a typical subdivision lot, often with a detached shop, garage or studio. When a building is close enough, we cable it properly. When trenching would tear up the yard or the driveway, a point-to-point wireless bridge carries the network across instead — a matched pair of radios aimed at each other, with a switch and access point on the far side so the shop gets Wi-Fi and wired ports on the same network as the house. Bridges need a clear line of sight, so we check the path (and the summer tree canopy) before recommending one.
For small offices, shops and service businesses in and around Cave Springs, we install structured cabling and UniFi networks: a gateway that acts as your firewall, a managed PoE switch, access points placed for real coverage, and separate networks for staff, guests and devices like cameras and card terminals. If the business cannot afford to go offline, we can add automatic internet failover with a second provider, cellular or Starlink. And because Harold Ragan Communications also provides business phone service, the phones can ride on the same network we build.
Eleven years as an IT director and a decade running a managed-services shop. We build for month eighteen, not install day.

The same care goes into a home office as a storefront: tested, labeled cabling and a documented closet.
Cabling, Wi-Fi, switching and phones from one shop, so there is one call when something breaks.
Cave Springs sits between four of the region’s biggest cities. We work across all of them.
